実は「間」には境界線が無いという考えであり、そこが「一番難しく、一番美しい」という雅之さんのお言葉は今でも鮮明に覚えています。

僕自身、先日のデジタルサイネージ用のインタビューの冒頭で『新しいことをやるってなると、左官じゃないところから得ます。業界の中で答えを見つけようとすると新しいことが生まれないと思っています。』
なんてことを話していた矢先のため、実に身に染みるのです。
もう一つ今の自分に刺さったのは「破」
破・・・ギリギリのところまできたとき、その伝統的な型を破り。そして、独自の新しい世界を見つけること。
まさにこれなんですね。
僕の場合、左官という伝統的な職人をしています。左官という職のなかでギリギリまで行ったのではなく、人生という大きな枠でギリギリのところまで行ったときに左官という伝統ある職を独自にスタートしたが故、独自の新しい世界になっているのかもしれません。
なんとも腑に落ちるのであります。
エッセイのタイトルになっている「青天を衝け」は大河ドラマの表題です。
この青天を衝けですが、藍と左官の融合に成功した僕が藍の勉強をしている際に知った渋沢栄一 さんが主人公の作品です。
渋沢栄一さんは、信州や上州まで製品の藍玉を売り歩くほか、原料の藍葉の仕入れ調達にも携わり。14歳のころからは単身で藍葉の仕入れに出かけるようになり、こうした経験がヨーロッパ視察時に、近代的な経済システム、諸制度を理解吸収する素地となり、また後の現実的な合理主義思想の形成にも繋がったともいわれるています。
現代の青に魅了された一人である僕としては避けては通れない偉大な方なのです。
僕が、自身の作品を載せているsnsのなかで「＃青天を衝け 」と表記したことがこのエッセイを書くすべての始まりでした。
とてもお世話になっている関谷さんがそれを見て、僕に渋澤健さんのブログをご紹介くださったのです。
関谷さんの感度はいったいどうなっているのでしょうか（笑）
そしてとても嬉しいお言葉を頂戴しました。
「あなたの作品を見た時に”間”を可視化していると感じた。」
なんともすべてお見通しであるお言葉。彼女の頭の中ではすべてのビジョンが完成しているのではないだろうか。
関谷さんは僕にとって八つの美意識の中の「秘」だと感じます。
いつもありがとうございます。
関谷さんとの会話で印象に残っているのが「まずは自分に丁寧にね。そうすれば人にも丁寧になれるわ。」
これからの、いや今日の僕にも大切であり、自分自身も癒される魔法の言葉です。
最後に、
渋澤健さんのブログでは冒頭に若手建築家の黒川彰さんとの出会いが書いてあります。
そしてブログにお父様である黒川雅之さんがコメントを寄せていらっしゃいます。
そのコメントの一部に「今日は死ぬのにもってこいの日」という本から抜粋されたセリフがありました。
この「今日は死ぬのにもってこいの日」、20歳ぐらいの頃に感銘を受けて何度も何度も読んで、絵本の方の翻訳者に直接メールしたほどだったのです。
今日も自分に丁寧に、死ぬのにもってこいの日と毎日言えるように。

Mrs Sekiya, who has been very helpful to me, introduced me to a blog.

I myself said at the beginning of the interview for the digital signage the other day, "When it comes to doing something new, I get it from a place that is not plastering. I believe that if you try to find the answer within the industry, you will not be able to create anything new.
As I was just talking about this, it really hit home for me.
The other thing that stuck out to me was "破".
When you are on the edge, break the traditional mold and find your own new world. And to find a new world of your own.
This is exactly what it means to me.
In my case, I am a plasterer, a traditional craftsman. In my case, I am a plasterer, a traditional craftsman, and I did not go as far as I could within the profession of plastering, but when I went as far as I could within the larger framework of my life, I started my own traditional profession as a plasterer, and perhaps that is why I have become a new world of my own.
It all makes sense to me.

When I was studying indigo, I came to know about Mr. Eiichi Shibusawa, who was involved in selling indigo balls to Shinshu and Kamishu as well as procuring indigo leaves for raw materials. It is also said to have led to the formation of his later realistic rationalist philosophy.
As a person who is fascinated by modern blue, I cannot avoid this great man.
It all started when I wrote "#Pulse the Blue Sky" on my sns page where I post my works.
Sekiya-san, who has been very kind to me, saw it and introduced me to Ken Shibusawa's blog.
I wonder what Mrs. Sekiya's sensitivity is like (laughs).
(laughs) And then I received very nice words from him.
He said, "When I saw your work, I felt that you visualized 'pause'."
She knew everything. I wonder if all her visions have been completed in her mind.
I feel that Mrs. Sekiya is the "secret" among the eight aesthetics for me.
Thank you for everything.
The conversation with Mrs. Sekiya that left a deep impression on me was, "First of all, be polite to yourself. Then you can be polite to others.
These are the magic words that will be important for me in the future, or even today, and will heal me as well.
Last but not least.
In the beginning of Ken Shibusawa's blog, he writes about his encounter with Akira Kurokawa, a young architect.
His father, Masayuki Kurokawa, also comments on the blog.
In one of the comments, there was a line excerpted from the book, "Today is the perfect day to die.
When I was about 20 years old, I was so impressed by this book that I read it over and over again and even sent an email directly to the translator of the picture book.
